Yesterday was an emotional and memorable day for many. I broke down a list of my top ten memorable moments from the inauguration day not necessarily in order.
10. Malia and Sasha’s age appropriate, trendy and adorable outfits for their father’s special day
9. Mr. President dancing to his high school’s band during the parade
8. Emotional dance during the Youth Inaugural Ball – You could feel / see the affection and love between the couple
7. The inaugural address – somber and confident words from a powerful man to a hopeful country and world… "a man whose father, less than 60 years ago, might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before [us] to take a most sacred oath."
6. SF residents transforming BUSH street signs to OBAMA
5. The President and First Lady walking out of their car down Pennsylvania Avenue earlier than expected
4. The band playing Hail to the Chief as Obama walked into a room – gave me chills every time
3. Obama and Biden waving farewell to Bush from the White House – annnd he’s out!
2. Beyonce serenading the Obama’s first dance at the Inaugural Neighborhood Ball
1. Obama being sworn in as the 44th President of the United States to Lincoln’s bible
