Life in Sactown

For the past week I have been back in Sacramento taking care of my grandmother. She was recently released from a two plus month stint in the hospital and needs a lot of taking care of while she recovers. Taking care of her can be a lot of work with multiple medications and diabetes to regulate, but I've also begun to notice the little and great things about Sacramento such as...

A fifteen minute drive to the closest winery in Clarksburg

Free tastings at local wineries including Bogle, Carvalho, Todd Taylor and Scribner Bend

Corona buckets filled with limes hanging above the Corona boxes
AND
Banana stands in check out aisles
It is good to be home every now and then, but it's also nice to know that Tahoe (skiing) and SF (my home and big city) are only an hour and a half away.
