Found out that my cousin, Erin, in Maryland is engaged! Her now fiance proposed on December 28th and she of course accepted! I knew something was up when my uncle wrote my family an e-mail about how he suspected that they would be engaged soon. I should have put the pieces together and realized that Lucas probably asked for her hand in marriage.
On another note, great news for the newly engaged. I get to fly back out East for the third year in a row and catch up with the family and possibly friends in the D.C. area. wOOt!
The wedding date is set for March 27, 2010 and I'm still waiting for the details about the proposal and wedding. I knew I should have bought the "Wedding Planning for Dummies" book... HA!
